EU may loosen EV rules for the third time in two years
France and Germany have agreed to cut the 2035 emissions-reduction target for new cars from 90% to 80% and weaken interim goals again. The proposals will be presented to the EU on October 15; six countries opposed the move, but France's shift likely secures the votes.
