Nitrogen-enhanced graphene wrapper extends platinum fuel-cell catalyst life
Researchers at Nagoya University in Japan wrapped platinum nanoparticles in nitrogen-containing graphene on carbon nanotubes. The catalyst retained 96.9% of its active surface after 30,000 durability cycles, promising longer-lasting fuel cells with lower platinum demand.
