GAO to audit summer hack of DHS information network and other incidents
The Government Accountability Office will examine three security incidents on the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) between 2023 and 2026, including a summer intrusion by outside hackers. The audit will also scrutinize whether DHS delayed notifying Congress about the problems.
