Xpanceo to unveil smart contact lenses at MWC 2027

Dubai-based Xpanceo has spent five years developing AI-powered smart contact lenses with a display, biosensors, a microbattery and an antenna, paired with a companion device worn on the head. The company has built 28 working prototypes and holds over 50 patents, and will show its third-generation lens with biochemical sensors at MWC Barcelona in March 2027.
