AuroraCell launches 9.7 kWh sodium-ion home battery with 20,000-cycle life

Bulgaria-based AuroraCell has unveiled a 48 V residential energy storage system using sodium-ion chromium oxide (NCO) cathode technology with 9.7 kWh capacity. It claims 20,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge, a 20-year warranty, UL9540A and CE certification, and operation up to 60°C in an IP65 enclosure.
