BSNL unveils Vaani upgrade, AI security and Bharat Sandesh at IMC 2026

BSNL announced four initiatives at India Mobile Congress 2026: an upgrade to its Vaani AI chatbot with live network status and voice complaints in Indian languages, network-level AI security with Saptang Labs, the Bharat Sandesh two-way government messaging platform, and an All-Photonics Network project with Fujitsu Japan using existing dark fibre.

• Vaani will show location-based live network status and accept voice complaints in Indian languages
• With Saptang Labs, BSNL will embed AI traffic analysis and security at the network level
• Bharat Sandesh on BSNL's network and ViH Messenger enables two-way citizen-government messaging
• BSNL and Fujitsu Japan plan an All-Photonics Network on existing dark fibre
