Gravity Well lays off over 40 developers after losing funding

Gravity Well, an independent studio founded by Respawn Entertainment alumni, lost its funding this summer and laid off the majority of its team — over 40 developers. Leaders Drew McCoy, Jon Shiring, and Mon Saetern are still seeking a new partner; a much smaller team continues as the studio fights for survival.
