IEEE report: AI to accelerate gene therapy and robots by 2028

IEEE released its 2030 Technology Megatrends Report: 166 experts from 38 countries identified 30 technologies across five megatrends — AI, energy, health, space and physical AI. Personalized medicine scored the highest impact at 4.93 out of 5, while genetic engineering and gene therapy are expected to reach therapeutic use within two years.
