NASA Delays SunRISE Mission to Mid-2027, Missing Solar Cycle Peak
NASA has pushed the launch of its SunRISE heliophysics mission to no earlier than mid-2027. The six flight-ready satellites have been in storage in Utah since 2023 and will miss the peak of Solar Cycle 25, the most active in two decades.
