Porsche confirms Boxster and Cayman go all-electric in 2028

Porsche has confirmed the 718 Boxster and Cayman will be battery-only, with 2028 as the first full year of production. The battery sits behind the seats to keep a low seating position, giving a 55.2% rear weight bias. CEO Michael Leiters said the 911 will "never" go electric.
