Double Counter Discord bot hack leaks IPs of 28 million accounts
A hacker hijacked Double Counter, a Discord bot that verifies members across 600,000+ communities, and siphoned about 12GB of data in 25 minutes. The breach exposed roughly 28 million Discord accounts, including usernames, IP addresses, city-level locations and ISPs, plus around a million emails. Owner Tellter reported the incident to France's data watchdog and is filing a criminal complaint.
