Porsche's new CEO outlines rescue plan with mid-engine supercar and EVs
Porsche CEO Michael Leiters laid out a plan to revive the brand: an electric 718 Boxster and Cayman replacement arrives in 2027, followed in 2028 by a Macan-sized crossover with gas and hybrid options, a gas mid-engine sports car and a large three-row SUV. Porsche will push high-end 911 variants for margin. A U.S. factory is off the table.
