Nvidia flags open-source operator AI shift

Nvidia said operators including SoftBank, AT&T and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison are increasingly deploying open AI models alongside proprietary systems for network automation. In Nvidia's 2026 telecom survey, 89% of operators called open-source software critical to their AI strategy.
