Voltage Now Switches Anomalous Hall Effect Readout On and Off
Researchers at USTC built an LCMO/CaRuO3 trilayer on a NdGaO3 substrate in which a voltage controls the anomalous Hall effect for in-plane magnetization. Published in Nature Communications, the signal persists up to 200 K with anomalous Hall conductivity of 103.7 mS·cm⁻¹.
- LCMO/CaRuO3 trilayer grown on NdGaO3(110) with unit-cell control
- LCMO symmetry lowered from orthorhombic Pbnm to monoclinic P2₁/m
- Anomalous Hall conductivity at zero field reaches 103.7 mS·cm⁻¹
- IP-AHE signal persists up to 200 K
