Redpine Opens 20 Million Research Papers to AI Agents via Licensing Deals

Swedish startup Redpine has signed content partnerships with BMJ Group, Sage, IOP Publishing, IGI Global, Wanfang Data and RCNi, giving AI agents licensed access to over 20 million peer-reviewed articles via APIs and the Model Context Protocol. Pricing is $1 per 1,000 tokens with no subscription, and publishers set permitted uses and share in revenue.
