Spain hit by leaks of CNI and Interior Ministry officials' data in 2026

On September 23, 2026, a hacker using the alias "hashealo" leaked DNI numbers, addresses and phone numbers of CNI and Interior Ministry leadership and politicians on the dark web. On October 6, an intrusion attributed to "hap" exposed financial records of officials and systems linked to the Bank of Spain. Spain's National Police is investigating under Audiencia Nacional supervision.
