ChatGPT regularly omits small Canadian businesses from search results: report
Ottawa-based analytics firm Clixera tested thousands of independent Canadian main-street businesses from public member directories and found ChatGPT named only 44 percent of them on average when asked where to eat, shop or hire. Results ranged from 54 percent in PEI to 33 percent in Newfoundland and Labrador, with large chains like Goodlife Fitness, YMCA and Canadian Tire appearing more often.
