Supreme Court to Decide if Meta Pixel Video Tracking Is Suable
The US Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on October 14 in Salazar v. Paramount Global, the first interpretation of the 1988 Video Privacy Protection Act. The plaintiff says Meta Pixel secretly sent his Facebook ID and video viewing history from 247Sports.com to Meta. A ruling is expected by late June 2027.
