California to Integrate Iceye Satellite Data Into Statewide Emergency Operations
California opened a modernized state operations center in Mather and signed an agreement with Finland's Iceye to feed SAR satellite data into statewide emergency operations. The near-real-time data on floods, wildfires and hurricanes will be shared with state agencies and local emergency managers.
