Ecoppia robots clean desert solar panels nightly without water

Israeli company Ecoppia has deployed autonomous robots that clean utility-scale solar panels at night using microfiber brushes and no water since 2013. The company claims its fleet has saved about 9.8 billion liters of water, while dust soiling can cut output by up to 50% in parts of the Middle East.
