AT&T forms fibre JV with GIP and CPP Investments to expand US reach
AT&T, Global Infrastructure Partners and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board are combining Forged Fiber 37 and Gigapower assets into a wholesale open-access fibre joint venture. AT&T will retain 50% ownership, with the deal expected to close in the first half of 2027 and a goal of reaching over 60 million locations by 2030.
