Tesla sold under 1,000 cars in its first year in India, but it's ramping

Tesla has registered 993 vehicles in India since deliveries began in September 2025, with 294 of them in September 2026 alone, a record month. A 15% price cut on the Model Y and the launch of the six-seat Model Y L drove the uptick.
