Amazon reportedly pays $120 million to stream the Emmys on Prime Video
Amazon and the Television Academy signed a six-year deal moving the Emmys from broadcast TV to Prime Video starting with the 2027 ceremony. Deadline reports Amazon is paying $20–25 million per year, totaling upwards of $120 million. The stream will be free to watch worldwide.
