ASOS app users receive extortion messages from hackers

ASOS users across the UK received push notifications from the retailer's app appearing to come from hackers threatening a data leak. The message, addressed to ASOS's data protection officer and IT team, claims the attackers fully compromised a Snowflake instance. ASOS did not respond to the BBC's request for comment.
