Chip simulation startup Vinci raises $250M at $1.5B valuation
Palo Alto-based Vinci, which builds AI software that simulates physics for chip and hardware design, has raised $250M at a $1.5B valuation. The round was led by Advent, Temasek and Xora Innovation, with Eclipse, Khosla Ventures and Madrona participating. Vinci claims its model runs simulations up to 1,000 times faster than conventional tools.
