Huawei Says It Has Mass-Produced 381 Tau Chips
Richard Yu said Huawei has designed and mass-produced 381 Tau (τ) chips spanning smartphones, AI, general computing, networking and smart cars. He showed the four Kirin Tau chips in the Mate 90 lineup for the first time, including the Kirin 9050 Pro with LogicFolding. The 381 figure was first cited in May 2026.
