GTIG: AI accelerates n-day attacks as flaw disclosures double

Google's Threat Intelligence Group says attackers exploited 141 vulnerabilities between January and August 2026, up from 127 in all of 2025. Monthly disclosures doubled from 5,045 in January to 10,740 in August, while median time from CVE publication to exploitation fell from 120 to 80 days, with AI tools speeding up exploit development.
