ZoomEye finds millions of exposed Redis, etcd and Consul ports online

A ZoomEye scan on 25 September 2026 found 4.94 million internet-reachable Redis ports, 1.53 million etcd endpoints, 1.71 million Consul endpoints and 1.13 million memcached ports. These services assume a trusted network, so exposure means data leaks or code execution.

• Port 6379 (Redis) reachable on 4,936,184 assets
• Ports 2379 (etcd) and 8500 (Consul) at 1,528,526 and 1,711,447
• Port 11211 (memcached) exposed on 1,128,965 assets
• Port counts include honeypots and unrelated services
