Moxin puts MoWorld 4D world model on a phone via Huawei Mate 90 app

Startup Moxin Technology has brought its MoWorld 4D world model into a smartphone app for Huawei's Mate 90 series, turning a few pet photos into an animated digital twin viewable from any angle. The pipeline splits work between cloud Ascend NPUs and an on-device MoWorld-2.0-Flash model with about 600 million parameters.

• The pet app is a HarmonyOS exclusive, launched October 2 after debuting at the Mate 90 event
• A cloud diffusion model on Huawei Ascend NPUs generates the heavy 3D Gaussian model
• On-device MoWorld-2.0-Flash has ~600M parameters and renders at up to ~100 FPS
• Moxin claims inference cost is about 30% of comparable GPU-based solutions
