Netcraft: nearly 40,000 phishing attacks hit US financial firms in H1 2026

Netcraft found almost 40,000 unique phishing URLs targeting US financial services in the first half of 2026. The attacks used 645 hosting providers and 576 registrars, with 12.6% of URLs hosted on free services and a new Seychelles-based host, Omegatech, emerging in January.
