Skydance announced its post-merger leadership for CNN and CBS as its $110 billion deal with Warner Bros. Discovery nears completion: Mark Thompson stays Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of CNN Worldwide, Bari Weiss remains Editor-in-Chief of CBS News, both reporting to co-CEOs David Ellison and Ynon Kreiz. A five-member News Editorial Independence Board must be created within 180 days under a consent decree with 12 states.
