EMD Electronics opens 38,000-sq-ft Wisconsin center with eight chip-materials labs
EMD Electronics, the North American arm of Germany's Merck KGaA, has opened a 38,000-square-foot research center in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, with eight laboratories for next-generation semiconductor materials. The facility is part of a $200 million multi-year U.S. investment, with another Wisconsin expansion due in 2027.
