Microsoft's X account hijacked to promote $CLIPPY scam token
Attackers briefly took over Microsoft's official X account to promote a meme cryptocurrency token called $CLIPPY tied to the Clippy mascot from Office 97. Microsoft confirmed unauthorized access, removed the posts and secured the account.

- Scammers posted a fake apology on Microsoft's behalf
