AMD EPYC "Verano" to Use New SB1 Socket, Dynatron Listing Suggests

Cooler maker Dynatron now lists support for "AMD EPYC Verano on Socket SB1," revealing the name of the new socket for AMD's server chips. Verano is the EPYC 9006 LP, a Zen 6 part with up to 72 cores, 5 GHz boost, 24 channels of LPDDR5X via SOCAMM2 modules and a launch planned for H2 2027.
