Living medication restores bone strength in 10 people with severe osteoporosis

University of Murcia reported the first human trial of mesenchymal stem cells with glycocalyx editing for osteoporosis. In 10 women aged 51–72, fracture rate fell from 8 to 0.5 per year over two years after one infusion; 7 of 10 showed bone tissue growth.
