North Korea claims 621-mile hypersonic missile test, Seoul disputes tracking
North Korea said it tested an intermediate-range hypersonic missile that flew about 621 miles (1,000 km) and hit a target off its east coast, with Kim Jong Un overseeing the launch. South Korea said it tracked the flight and that the missile remained within the reach of US and South Korean missile defenses.
