The Coalition uses Xbox Series S SSD as extra memory in Gears of War: E-Day
The Coalition, working with Xbox's platform team, built a system that uses the Series S NVMe drive as an extra tier of memory alongside its 10GB of GDDR6. It let Gears of War: E-Day keep its city density and a 60FPS target while cutting only Lumen reflections, and other studios are already interested.
