Telxius taps Nokia for 800G coherent pluggable deployment

Nokia will supply Telxius with ICE-X 800G ZR/ZR+ coherent pluggable modules for terrestrial transport networks in Europe, the US, and Latin America. The IP-over-DWDM technology aims to increase capacity and reduce power consumption and footprint. The partners previously achieved 400 Gbps per wavelength over 5,600 km on the BRUSA submarine cable.
