AWS CEO warns data center moratoriums could cost US the AI race

AWS CEO Matt Garman published a 3,000-word blog post urging communities to embrace data centers, warning that more than 100 proposed moratoriums could cost the US the AI race. A Wall Street Journal poll found 62% of Americans support pausing AI data center construction, with 40% of those calling it a top priority.
