CBP tests walk-through facial recognition at Texas land border exit
DHS and CBP tested three facial recognition systems at the Progreso International Bridge in Texas, capturing pedestrians as they walk out of the U.S. More than 1.1 million pedestrians cross there annually, and Congress has allocated $3.45 billion to CBP through 2029 for border technology.
