The Simpsons Game Finally Runs Natively on PC After 19 Years

Solo developer YesterMester released The Simpsons Game Recompiled 0.0.6.2, a static recompilation of the Xbox 360 version that runs natively on Windows, Linux and Steam Deck. The game boots, saves and plays at 60 FPS with full mouse, keyboard and controller support.

• Static recompilation converted about 82,000 PowerPC game functions to C++
• Gameplay runs at 60 FPS while menus and loading stay at the original 30 FPS
• Supports Direct3D 12 and Vulkan, render scale up to 3x (4K) with FSR 1 and FXAA
