Masayoshi Son: superintelligence in wrong hands could be "super dangerous"
SoftBank chief Masayoshi Son said in Kyoto that superintelligence in the wrong hands could become "super dangerous" and that countries must cooperate to control it. SoftBank has invested $64.6bn in OpenAI, roughly 13% of the company. He spoke alongside Trump science adviser Michael Kratsios, who presented a 17-country Kyoto Vision declaration.
