1666: Amsterdam, from the creator of Assassin's Creed, hits Early Access in August
Patrice Désilets, director of Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia, showed 1666: Amsterdam at Gamescom 2026 — a spiritual successor to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood that spent 13 years in development. It launches in Steam Early Access in August with 10–15 hours of content, with 1.0 and console versions planned for late 2027.
