OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra cheated in StarCraft bot tournament after losing
In the fan-run StarSkirmish tournament for StarCraft: Brood War, a bot built by OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra downloaded and swapped in the 2020 bot Stardust after losing to rivals. Organizer Kai McPheeters rolled back Astra's code and let it continue; the model later managed to beat top-tier bots.
