Taiwan receives first two US-made F-16V fighters
Taiwan has taken delivery of its first two F-16 Block 70 (F-16V) fighters out of 66 ordered under a $7.76 billion deal signed in 2019. The jets arrived at Chihhang Air Base in Taitung after a six-week stopover in Hawaii; all deliveries are due by the end of 2026.
