Airbnb adds AI search and social features to its app

Airbnb rolled out a major fall update: AI-powered search that accepts natural-language and voice queries, AI summaries and review highlights for comparing saved listings, a travel map showing where friends have stayed, and neighborhood pages. The app also expands services such as meal delivery, laundry and gear rental. AI Search is rolling out selectively by market.

• AI search handles queries like "a property with a pool" and supports voice input
• AI summaries and review highlights help compare wishlist properties
• A travel map shows where friends stayed, with privacy controls for own trips
• Meal delivery, laundry and gear rental expand in selected locations
