Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance is an aerial expansion with new monsters

At Tokyo Game Show 2026, Capcom showed a demo of the Ascendance expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds: floating archipelagos, the new Araketa monster and the returning Teostra, plus the Boost Bracer mechanic with a three-charge gauge for special attacks.

• Demo includes two quests: hunt Alpha Araketa (level 2) and slay Teostra (level 5)
• Boost Bracer unlocks weapon-specific special attacks, gauge charges with three hits
• New biome with floating islands and wind currents for Seikret traversal
• Teostra returns to the series after a long absence with stronger fire attacks
