Woman with motor neuron disease calls grandchildren using brain implant

Paradromics reported that a woman from Michigan with motor neuron disease made a live call to her grandchildren using only neural signals. The Connexus implant decoded spontaneous speech without errors in the FDA-approved Connect-One study.
