Used Ryzen 7 5800X3D Locks Buyer Out of Valorant Over Previous Owner's Cheating

A buyer of a used Ryzen 7 5800X3D from German classifieds site Kleinanzeigen was locked out of Valorant after Vanguard blacklisted the CPU's ID on August 12 due to the previous owner's cheating. Riot anti-cheat head Phillip Koskinas clarified that hardware bans last a maximum of 4 months and apply only to the game where cheating was detected.
