Cohere reaches terms with Aleph Alpha to take on AI giants

Cohere announced a business combination agreement with Berlin-based Aleph Alpha, first announced five months ago. The combined company, headquartered in Berlin and Toronto, will have over 1,000 employees; the deal awaits regulatory approval and is expected to close by year-end.
